Objective

Increase sales of Quaker’s granola cereals by encouraging children and students to make breakfast a daily habit.

Insight

Over 1 in 4 adolescents and 1 in 10 school-aged children regularly skip breakfast, leaving them without the energy needed to start their day. In response, parents often choose cereal brands based on kid-friendly, eye-catching packaging, even if it’s not the healthiest choice.

Idea

Rebrand Quaker's traditional image to a fun and energetic image by associating Quakerman with the popular comic book hero, Superman. The ads highlight Quakerman’s transformation from dour to energetic, symbolizing the energy boost Quaker cereal provides. This campaign delivers the message that eating Quaker's healthy, tasty cereal fuels energy for the day, encouraging kids to make it part of their morning routine.
